Conversation
- GitHub stopped reading single-file issue templates on 30 March 2025, so this file is never shown. The forms in `.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/` already cover what it asked for.

@HaraldNordgren ignore: someone tweaks jobs so they were incorrect, all good now. |

@MikeMcQuaid This is already rebased on latest master, but "cask audit" is stuck. I think we might need to change the required checks in the main rules from "cask audit" to "cask audit (Linux)" and "cask audit (macOS)". Edit: I posted this before I saw your comment here: #24459 (comment) |
GitHub stopped reading single-file issue templates on 30 March 2025 (https://github.blog/changelog/2025-02-18-github-issues-projects-february-18th-update/), so
.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE.mdis never shown. It only asks people to use the forms in.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/, which GitHub already shows when opening an issue, so remove it.Noticed while adding generic templates to repositories without them in Homebrew/.github#507.
brew benchmarkresults.brewcommands to reproduce the bug?brew lgtm(style, typechecking and tests) locally?I used Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) to find this leftover file across Homebrew's repositories and remove it. Claude checked that nothing else in the repository refers to it and ran
brew lgtm.
