I realize this is a thing that can't happen in the normal game (The Clicker only turns normals into other normals, and tainteds into other tainteds), and that's probably why this minor bug exists.
Long story short, I'm using a mod that causes this effect, and I've noticed that if, for example, Isaac is transformed into Tainted Cain, the field that displays the name of the current character will not say "Tainted Cain", but just "Cain." However, I've noticed that, after the transformation, if I exit the run and continue, when I load back into the game, it will properly say "Tainted Cain".
Based on that, I have a feeling this would be a (hopefully) fairly easy thing to fix, and I'd really appreciate it if you did so, so that I don't have to either explain the discrepancy on stream, nor will I have to exit and continue whenever it happens in order to properly 'refresh' the display.
Thanks in advance!
