Enable the DCO app's individual remediation commits, so a missing Signed-off-by can be fixed with an extra commit rather than a rebase and force-push of the pull request branch. With this option on, a pull request whose commits lack aSigned-off-bycan be fixed by pushing one extra commit instead of rebasing and force-pushing the branch. That commit has to be authored and signed off by the original author, and its message lists the commits it covers:The DCO app reads its configuration from the default branch only, so the file has to go to
master. Adding it ondev_1.0.1or on a PR branch would have no effect.Third-party remediation (signing off on someone else's behalf) stays off.
