Follow the Dynamic Properties table on the ui-slider page and you'll set a slider's label at runtime with msg.ui_update.class. That's the Class row's payload, from further down the same table. The label doesn't move. What you get instead is a CSS class named after whatever text you sent.

One character in the front-matter, in the EN page and the German one:

line 31 - Label: / payload: msg.ui_update.class
line 64 - Class: / payload: msg.ui_update.class

I've read this rather than driven it in a running dashboard, so take the runtime half from source: UISlider.vue's onDynamicProperties calls updateDynamicProperty('label', updates.label), and class isn't in that handler at all. Class gets applied centrally, so sending ui_update.class isn't a no-op - it just doesn't do what the Label row promises.

The eleven other widget docs that document a dynamic Label all say msg.ui_update.label. Every other row in ui-slider's own table names the key matching it's label, too. So, a copy-paste off the row below.

German page has the same wrong key under Beschriftung:, so that's in here as well. Same one character, no translating invovled.

updates.label is what the widget reads today, server side in ui_slider.js as well as in the Vue component, and thats been true since the handler was written. The node's own help text in the Node-RED editor already says label. The docs page is the odd one out.
