Faabyy – system integration, self-hosting, open source

Apprentice IT specialist for system integration, based in Germany.
I self-host my own services, run GrapheneOS on my phone and use privacy tools like the Nym VPN client.
I also build small tools for my everyday life and send pull requests to open-source projects.

What I'm working on

  • Training in system integration: servers, networking, authentication and automation
  • A self-hosted server with Docker, OMV and Tailscale
  • Development on the side: contribution to open source projects and small web apps and plugins that solve a specific problem

  • I use Claude Code for development and refactoring, including remotely on my own server
  • I define the requirements and the structure, and I review, test and understand what ends up in my repos
