💡 What: Removed the
list_participantscheck inremove_participant_from_roomprior to callingremove_participantdirectly.🎯 Why: LiveKit gracefully handles and throws an exception when attempting to remove a non-existent participant. Listing participants first to verify their existence incurred an unnecessary network round-trip, increasing latency on transfers.
📊 Impact: Eliminates one API call / network round-trip from the critical path of the transfer completion flow, shaving off valuable milliseconds.
🔬 Measurement: Verify tests run. Monitor network traces on transfer to confirm 1 less API request to the LiveKit server is made.
