What we built
We've built AgentGovernor — an open-source multi-agent consensus layer that uses ChainPilot as its perception engine. Together they form what we believe is the first AI-governed DeFi pool prototype.
Architecture:
ChainPilot (sense) → 4 AI Agents (decide) → AgentGovernor (3/4 consensus) → DPPOracle (execute)
Each agent calls ChainPilot CLI (--json) to get real-time market data, makes an independent judgment, then submits on-chain proposals. When 3 out of 4 agree, parameters update automatically.
How ChainPilot is used
chainpilot swap quote — real-time price as oracle input
- Large vs small quote differential — implied volatility estimation
- Cross-chain price comparison — arbitrage pressure detection
ChainPilot's --json output makes it ideal for agent pipelines. We wrapped it in an SDK:
npm install github:fmdd123123-create/ai-oracle-governance
const { ChainPilotSensor } = require('agent-governor-sdk');
const sensor = new ChainPilotSensor({ chainId: 1 });
const market = await sensor.sense(); // price, volatility, crossChainSpread
On-chain proof (Eth Sepolia)
Full governance cycle verified: 4 independent wallets, propose → approve × 2 → auto-execute. Parameters changed on-chain.
Why this matters for ChainPilot
ChainPilot is currently positioned as a CLI tool for humans. But its --json output and cross-chain routing make it a natural perception layer for AI agents.
We see a path where ChainPilot becomes the standard way agents sense DeFi markets — not just a swap helper, but the eyes of autonomous governance.
What we're proposing
Not a feature request — more of an open conversation:
- Would the ChainPilot team be interested in an "agent mode" or official integration pattern?
- Is there a DODO test pool we could point AgentGovernor at for a live experiment?
- Any feedback on how we're using ChainPilot — are we missing capabilities?
