Reduce to_strong usage #407
Description
This:
int f(const int *p) { return p[0]; }
int sum_decayed(const int (&a)[3]) { return f(a); }Is converted into:
pub fn f(p: Ptr<i32>) -> i32 {
let p: Value<Ptr<i32>> = Rc::new(RefCell::new(p));
return p.borrow().offset(0_isize).read();
}
pub fn sum_decayed_6(a: Ptr<Box<[i32]>>) -> i32 {
return f(a.to_strong().as_pointer() as Ptr<i32>);
}I think int a[3] in arguments should be decayed straight away to Ptr<T>.
Also, we probably need a faster "reinterpret" that doesn't go through to_strong().as_pointer. Seems wasteful.

We can extend reinterpret_cast to have a fast path for this kind of type reinterpretations and reaplce

Still need to audit usage of StrongPtr and other similar stuff.
