[BUG] Highlight option not working

Description

Highlight option is not working on upon selecting text.

Expected Behaviour

• On selecting the text and then applying highlight text, the selected text must highlight

Current Behaviour

• On selecting the text and applying hihglight, selecting text is not highlighted
