James Hsueh

Backend engineer in Taiwan. I write Go and C#, practise TDD and DDD in earnest, and build tooling that keeps AI coding agents inside real engineering discipline instead of letting them generate spaghetti faster than anyone can read it.

Currently

  • Writing a daily series on quantitative trading — strategy blocks, vectorised backtests, and why a 300% backtest still loses money once slippage is priced in.
  • Building spec-driven development workflows and Claude Code skills, so that Ubiquitous Language, vertical slices, and TDD survive contact with an AI agent.
  • Shipping small Go services and CLI tools: schedulers, git summarisers, stock analysis.

Selected work

GSI-Protocol Spec-driven development workflow for AI-assisted coding: Specification → Architecture → Implementation → Verification. Python.
SDD-Skill A Claude Code plugin whose skills carry a feature from domain language all the way to production-ready code.
Claude-Code-Skill-DDD Conversational skills for strategic design and Event Storming — bounded contexts and aggregates, by dialogue.
skill-manager Desktop app (Tauri 2 + React + Rust) for authoring, generating, and refining Claude Code skills.
LazyVim-Dotfile My Neovim setup — modular LSP and test wiring for Go, TypeScript, and friends.
