Measure both modes in the wrapper on a weak Windows laptop and on the Deck at 1280x800 with the native Linux build (the spike's numbers are on #158); Deck Verified needs 30 fps by default.
Decision / recommendation
Use the existing frame-rate meter; record numbers in docs/graphics.md.
