What
Remove the temporary patch files (patch7.js through patch13.js) from the repository root. These are one-off scripts that should not be committed to the repo.
Why
Stale patch files:
- Clutter the project root
- Confuse contributors about their purpose
- Are likely no longer needed since the codebase has evolved past them
- Violate the principle of keeping the repo clean
Scope
- Delete:
patch7.js, patch8.js, patch9.js, patch10.js, patch11.js, patch12.js, patch13.js
- Add
*.js (except config files) or patch*.js to .gitignore to prevent future occurrences
- No source code changes
