Serve a favicon-sized parrot image
On a visitor's first page load, this makes the browser fetch the full 614×614, 538,671-byte assets/img/parrot.png merely to render a roughly 16–32 px favicon, replacing the 333-byte SVG and adding about 526 KiB to every cold-cache visit. Preserve the parrot design, but point this tag to a separately resized and optimized favicon asset.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
Restore the original parrot browser favicon by pointing the shared layout at the preserved PNG asset. All pages inherit the change.
Validation: npm run verify passes (25 pages, 6 integration tests), including the favicon asset link check.
