A veteran familiar tries to keep a skeptical schoolgirl happy and turns her last evening with a departing friend into a siege. The Final Familiar follows his formidable magic through a disastrous success, a chosen farewell, and companionship beyond his final assignment.

The package includes the verbatim prompt and supplied original, provisional outline, finished prose, concise editorial memory, General rating with content notes, three individual character sheets, four setting paintings, and a reference-led cover. It starts with canon: false.

Independent Codex and subscription-authenticated Claude readings covered the outline, complete draft, and fresh final prose, with actual round-robin exchanges. Revisions made the mother's trust observable, distinguished Miri's selfishness from Bramble's responsibility for confinement, and clarified the girls' argument. The final reading confirmed that the ordinary girl's costly choice and the veteran's consequential power both drive the ending. The compressed public aftermath is deliberate; consequences persist through the mother's conditions, withheld touch, Dulcie's anger, and the later phone call, keeping the farewell in focus.

All character and location references were completed and visually inspected before the cover. The selected cover preserves the accepted identities and room, with the exact title rendered once; it is a portrait JPEG at 864×1536. Character sheets are 1536×1024 WebP.
