Expanded transfer details previously showed file counts and one overall speed, so a slow write and a slow verification read looked the same. The shared Mac/iPhone/iPad progress row now shows bytes written and read back, with a separate live rate for each local destination. The copy stage and active destination also appear while a large first file is still at 0 of 1 completed.
The meter counts successful destination I/O calls, including successful partial writes before a later write fails. Rechecking an existing file adds readback bytes but no new write bytes. Overlapping calls to one destination use their combined active interval, and rates expire when I/O stops or a pause begins; a resumed rate cannot include pre-pause samples. These are active file I/O rates, not full-transfer or durable-storage benchmarks. Transfer scheduling, source files, verification evidence, and safety verdicts are unchanged.
Local validation on the rebased branch:
TEST SUCCEEDED.TEST SUCCEEDED.git diff --checkis clean. The first engine run inside the restricted tool sandbox could not mount disk images or access macOS bookmark/diagnostic services. The complete engine suite passed when rerun with those local services available. A physical-drive UI walkthrough remains for release validation.
