Hey, I'm Bohao, creator of LeadSnapper.
I originally built this tool because I was tired of manually scrolling through social feeds to find B2B leads.
Rather than keeping this code locked away or behind a paywall, I've decided to open-source the entire codebase so anyone can fork it, customize it, and build on top of it. It's 100% transparent and local-first: your API keys, credentials, and leads stay on your own machine.
- Clone or Download: Clone this repository or download the source files.
- Extensions: Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Developer Mode: Toggle ON "Developer mode" in the top-right corner.
- Load Unpacked: Click "Load unpacked" and select the
extension/directory. - Pin It: Pin LeadSnapper to your toolbar for 1-click access.
- Native Host (Optional): Run
register.batinside the directory to enable local python messaging host capabilities.

Evaluate posts dynamically with a local scoring engine (0-100) calibrated to your target audience.

Generate 3 distinct outbound drafts tailored to the target’s specific context (Professional, Humor, or Director). One-click "Copy & Fill" automatically injects drafts into social input fields.
LeadSnapper operates with a strict local-first architecture:
- No Intermediaries: Credentials, licenses, leads, and histories are saved directly in browser client storage (
chrome.storage.local). - Direct AI Endpoints: Connection goes directly from your browser to your chosen AI vendor (DeepSeek or OpenAI). No middleman servers.
- Zero Markup Cost: Pay raw API tokens directly to the vendor (pennies per 1,000 lead scans).
LeadSnapper is completely free for personal and commercial use under the MIT License. Feel free to fork, submit PRs, or adapt the code for your own workflow!
