Hi, I’m Amara ✨
I’m interested in the intersection of data, health, research, and technology — particularly how better use of data can help us understand health challenges and build better systems.
🔎 My projects span health data analysis, machine learning, public health research, data visualisation, and AI-enabled tools. I enjoy working across different problems, from analysing population health data and exploring chronic disease patterns to building predictive models and interactive applications.
🧪 My background is in Applied Biochemistry, and I’m particularly interested in the growing space between biomedical research, data science, and digital health.
📊 I work with Python, SQL, Excel, R, Tableau, Power BI, Datawrapper, and Streamlit, and I’m continually expanding my analytical and technical toolkit.
🌍 I’m interested in projects and research that use technology and evidence to address real-world challenges in healthcare, public health, and health systems.
🎓 I’m also building toward graduate study and research opportunities at the intersection of health data science, AI, biomedical research, and digital health.
🤝 I’m always open to collaborating on thoughtful projects involving health, data, research, technology, and better healthcare systems.
✨ Outside of the technical stuff, I’m passionate about science, learning, education, travel, and making complex ideas easier to understand.
