# Aether Agent v0.3.3 — home-folder chat recovery

**September 27, 2026**

- **Chat starts from broad home directories.** Nested `AGENTS.md` discovery now
has explicit entry, directory, and time limits. Hosted chat shows a warning
when discovery is incomplete and continues; local tool runs refuse until all
applicable local rules can be checked from a smaller project directory.
- **An HTTP error cannot hide behind a stalled detail body.** The CLI bounds
reading optional error details and keeps the known HTTP status, including
the sign-in hint for a 401. This does not assert that every reported 401 has
the same cause.
- **Stream errors remain failed turns.** The CLI shows known fixed public media
error text when `msg` is absent, or a clear fallback for untrusted `error`
text. A one-shot command exits nonzero even when a zero-cost `done` follows.
- **Public model documentation refreshed from Cloud's verified projection.**
The projection's digest is checked before generating the packed documentation.
