Purpose
Adds
research/2026-10-25/00-brainstorming-scratchpad.md, the dated audit and research map linking seven separate draft research PRs (#1–#7).Includes verified PR status (including closed-unmerged ndarray #371), NSL code anchors, hypothesis vs evidence boundaries, a prioritized experimental sequence, numerical contracts, failure modes, and an evidence log.

Docs only; no feature shipped, test run or performance claim.
Deep-dive added 2026-10-25
Detailed experimental specification: one three-node steel-thread tying NSL neighbor semantics, typed model evaluation and immutable provenance.
This adds design detail only. All source/runtime integration, reference execution, measured performance and test evidence remain future implementation work. Please review the acceptance/refusal gates before promoting this draft.
