- **Confidence:** CERTIFIED bit-exact against the original TFLite Micro int8 SOFTMAX kernel (TFLM `5f64e4ad`, `kernels/internal/reference/softmax.h`, g++ 13.3.0, x86-64; source digest `0566576b…2eb3c`). Every fixture row was confirmed by the real kernel (`softmax_oracle.cc`) before it was written; the TFLM-free Rust replay (`pal256-admission-v1/replay/`) reproduces the kernel's bytes on all 529 witness, 27 reduced and 7 equivalence rows; the exact-reciprocal negative control fails all 556 witness rows; 9 tamper cases refused. Scope: the 14 calibrations, int8 in / scale 1/256 / zp −128, `S ∈ [2^19, 2^28)`, one TFLM revision, one compiler. Production impact none.
- **Correction 2026-10-26:** the replay crate `.claude/probes/pal256-admission-v1/replay/` landed with this PR, not with #1801; #1801 carries only `admit/`.
