…rge Markov chain Premise gate split the question: thought-git ops are deterministic, no P exists, squash is path composition (a lag), promotion is evidence. Stochastic layer exists only where aggregation induces it (exo129 snap kernel). Map: 20 ideas with ADOPT-NOW/PROBE/PARK/SKIP, seven pre-registered probes (PR-1..7) incl. a head-selection probe, and a requested storno of the #1736 IDEAS "certificate is P-hat" / "4-eps tolerance" bullets. Resolves an add/add collision: #1736 (session 01Vnc) landed its own coresearch map at entries/2026-10-23-coresearch-thought-git-markov.md. Theirs is kept unchanged at that path; CC2's map moves to ...-markov-cc2.md with a file note, and the gap map's cross-reference is updated. entries/README.md regenerated, not hand-merged. It draws on Bittracher & Schütte 2021 and Askarian, Xu & Faragó 2016 (both CC BY, read in full). It ends with an append-only corrigendum recording the operator's decision: the substrate is not probabilistic, and probabilistic models are counterfactuals that the egglog/eggcc compiler must certify. The corrigendum withdraws three framings: the stochastic-layer reading, head-by-vote/stationary-mass, and "certificate = P̂".…-markov.mdbecause probe(D-TGA-5): squash the chain of origin into the most-updated lane, gated on contradiction; blame survives #1736 (session 01Vnc) landed its own map on the same question at that path.
