Coresearch D-DRMC items X4 and X17 (operator-chosen), on the stage 1
frame/focus/scope split.
- universal_on_focus checks Counterexamples before Unknown. A refuted
focus used to report Unknown(n) and hide the counterexample; under
certain-answer semantics one observed FALSE refutes the claim.
refuted_beats_unknown pins Gamma 0b111, R 0b001, validity 0b011 and
its two twins.
- The fixtures no longer bind Gamma and R to the same bits ("Gamma
subset of R" was Gamma subset of Gamma). R holds pairs outside Gamma,
with anti-vacuity asserts; the scalar-enumeration test now also calls
universal_on_focus.
- observe_focus reads validity from R, requires a two-valued Gamma, and
refuses a different frame issue, a stale frame or a different focus.

Disable runs: the old check order, reading Gamma in place of R, counting R outside the focus, and each frame/focus check all go red. Generated by Claude Code |

Stage 2 of D-DRMC
Adds a lab-only independent reference over witnessed DR64 constraint, relationship and optional validity planes. It returns exact eligible/true/false/unknown counts for the bound 64x64 focus, and refuses vacuous universal claims, one counterexample, unknown observations, coordinate or revision mismatch.
Includes six tests, including an independent per-cell enumeration differential. Does not claim a scientific theorem, source authenticity, full global population or causal evidence. No storage change and no production evaluator; the bit loop is reference/testing only, alongside existing Quack/R2IL/native SIMD execution.
Gates: source seal/completeness attestation, held-out/counterfactual checks and mathematical checker are separate. No Cargo execution in this environment. Stacked on #1701; independent of #1698 and #1667 owners.
