Adds .claude/handovers/2026-10-10-1600-hubspo-rs-to-lance-graph.md, a consumer wishlist from HubSPO-rs read against a75bcc42. Docs only. HubSPO-rs needs each item but may not build it locally (STOP rule).

dir-sim (lance-graph-dir-sim):

  • W-1 — execute mailbox delegation: a sparse relation lane, View::may_act_for, and coverage in simulate, diff, plan and ad::project.
  • W-2 — an ActorSource over a View, so directory groups reach RBAC roles.
  • W-3 — persist a version as a Lance dataset version; ad::project is export only.
  • W-4 — transitive group members, so spear and HubSPO-rs don't each write the closure.

Report seam (lance-graph-report):

  • W-5 — a borrowed or Arrow-buffer lane variant. Today LaneData owns Arc lanes, so every publish copies each lane.
  • W-6 — AbiBatch::generation is u32 while Lance versions are u64.

The meaning half of W-1 to W-3 is in the sibling OGAR handover. The evidence is HubSPO-rs PR #17: the comms API map, and probe P-QDB-1, which ran nine Quack programs directly over Arrow buffers.

Owner Author

Note on W-1 (mailbox delegation), after the V17 review on OGAR #344. The meaning-side correction is in OGAR #346. Three points carry over to the execution side:

  • The owner of a delegation can be a group, for SendAs and SendOnBehalf. Exchange grants both on distribution groups. FullAccess still needs a mailbox. So View::may_act_for(delegate, owner, right) must take a group as owner for those two rights.
  • Deny entries. FullAccess can carry deny entries. The delegation lane must not hold a grant that a witness also denies.
  • W-1 depends on W-4. A delegate reached through a nested group needs View::members_transitive (W-4).

This file stays as merged. This comment is the record of the correction.
