Addressed Issues:

No linked issue. PR Dashboard was hard-wired to StabilityNexus/MiniChain (code, prompts, page titles). This makes it a standalone tool any maintainer can point at their own repository, similar to the Skill Bot template change (AOSSIE-Org/SkillBot#52).

What changed

Usage

  • Run python main.py owner/repo, or set TARGET_REPO once in .env.
  • A new config.py and .env.example cover the settings: PR_STATE (now open by default; it was closed, left from testing), PR_LIMIT, OLLAMA_MODEL and OLLAMA_URL.

Project context, with no sync step

  • Context is read live with gh: a local context.md if present, else the target repo's AGENTS.md, else its README.md.
  • This replaces repo_metadata.py, context.py, scripts/update_subtrees.py and the nightly sync workflow.
  • That setup never covered the analysed repository: MiniChain had no repo_metadata.py entry, so prompts always ran without context.

Fix found while testing

  • llama3.2 drops the closing } of its JSON answers, so every group and PR analysis failed to parse, also on the current main.
  • Ollama requests now use "format": "json".
  • This also includes the lenient JSON-parsing commit that was on my fork.

Removed or limited to AOSSIE-Org

  • The legacy dashboard.py (AGENTS.md already marked it unmaintained).
  • MAINTAINERS.md, Brand.md, the best-practices score files and workflow, initial-issues.json, and the AOSSIE, Stability Nexus and ecosystem logos.
  • These are added to .templatesyncignore so the monthly template sync doesn't restore them.
  • template-sync.yml and the GitHub Pages example deploy now run only in AOSSIE-Org.
  • README is rewritten as a setup guide, with a link to the existing Pages demo as example output. AGENTS.md and CONTRIBUTING.md are updated to match.

Additional Notes:

Tested end-to-end against AOSSIE-Org/PictoPy (10 open PRs):

  • Context was loaded from PictoPy's AGENTS.md.
  • 1 conflict group (#1585 and #1665) came with a recommended merge order and the reason they conflict.
  • 8 isolated PRs, with no failed analyses.
  • Both report titles say "PictoPy".

Before the JSON fix, the same run failed every analysis. There is no automated test suite in this repo.

  • My changes generate no new warnings or errors

- Target repository comes from `python main.py owner/repo` or
TARGET_REPO in .env (new config.py); nothing is hard-coded to
StabilityNexus/MiniChain any more. PR_STATE (default open, was
  closed), PR_LIMIT, OLLAMA_MODEL and OLLAMA_URL are settings.
- Project context is read live with gh: a local context.md, else the
target repo's AGENTS.md, else its README.md. This replaces
  repo_metadata.py, context.py, scripts/update_subtrees.py and the
nightly sync workflow, which never synced the analysed repo (its
folder name had no repo_metadata.py entry), so prompts had no context.
- Prompts and report titles use the target repo's name.
- Ollama requests use format "json": llama3.2 dropped the closing brace
and every PR analysis failed to parse.
- Removed: the legacy dashboard.py, MAINTAINERS.md, Brand.md, the
best-practices score files and workflow, initial-issues.json and the
AOSSIE / Stability Nexus / ecosystem logos (also added to
.templatesyncignore). template-sync and the GitHub Pages example
deploy now run only in AOSSIE-Org.
- README rewritten as a setup guide with a link to AOSSIE's example
  output; AGENTS.md and CONTRIBUTING.md updated.

Walkthrough

The PR adds repository-based configuration and context lookup, updates pull-request fetching and model analysis, and uses the selected repository name in prompts and reports. It also removes the prior repository-context synchronization and AOSSIE-specific project materials, and narrows selected workflow conditions.

Changes

PR Dashboard runtime

Layer / File(s) Summary
Repository configuration and context
config.py, .env.example, .gitignore, github.py, context.py, repo_metadata.py, scripts/update_subtrees.py, .github/workflows/sync-subtrees.yml, AGENTS.md, CONTRIBUTING.md
Configuration reads the repository from the command line or .env and defines PR and Ollama settings. Context lookup uses local context.md, then the target repository’s AGENTS.md or README.md. The previous local context loader and repository synchronization components are removed. Setup and code-map documentation describe the new configuration and context sources.
Pull-request analysis and reports
github.py, main.py, ollama.py, render.py, dashboard.py, README.md
Pull-request fetching uses the configured state and a page limit from 1 to 100. The entry point validates the repository and reports context and fetch status. Ollama requests JSON and parses responses with fallback cleanup. Prompts and HTML titles use the selected repository name. The former dashboard.py script is deleted, and the README documents the current run and report behavior.

AOSSIE repository scope

Layer / File(s) Summary
Workflow and template-sync scope
.github/workflows/deploy-gh-pages.yml, .github/workflows/template-sync.yml, .github/workflows/stale.yml, .github/workflows/checklist-score.yml, .templatesyncignore
Deployment and template-sync jobs now require the repository owner to be AOSSIE-Org. Stale messages omit the AOSSIE name, template-sync exclusions are expanded, and the checklist-scoring workflow is removed.
AOSSIE project materials
.github/initial-issues.json, BestPracticesChecklist.md, Brand.md, MAINTAINERS.md, checklist-status.json, AGENTS.md
AOSSIE-specific issue templates, checklist content and status, brand guidance, and maintainer listings are removed. The AI policy attribution in AGENTS.md changes to “AOSSIE’s.”

Merge Risk: Low · previous review a0fc5

The tool works for the documented flow, but the README overstates what "isolated" means and could lead maintainers to merge overlapping PRs. A transient GitHub error can silently drop project context, and unusual proxied Ollama setups can fail the startup check. These are worth fixing soon but are not blocking.

A rabbit checks the repo name,
Then gathers context for the frame.
The PRs arrive, the model replies,
New report titles greet the eyes.
Old checklists leave the burrow door,
And hops of setup guide the score.

- --help (or -h) prints usage instead of starting an analysis.
- Context fetch: only a confirmed 404 counts as a missing AGENTS.md /
README.md; other gh failures are retried and reported.
- Lenient JSON repair removes trailing commas only outside strings.
- Ollama health check calls /api/tags on the OLLAMA_URL base, keeping
  any reverse-proxy path.
- README: isolated PRs are ungrouped by meaning, not guaranteed free of
file overlap; AGENTS.md verification command includes owner/repo.
