Greetings! I’m Wolf, an NYC based techie with a passion for creating and using developer tooling, particularly at its intersection with webdev.
I've recently started at Macro, where we combine the best of many productivity tools into a Markdown and keyboard shortcut infused, open source, and super snappy platform.
Last summer I interned at Val Town, a fun and flexible serverless JS functions (FaaS) platform, and before that I completed a batch at Recurse Center, a NYC based self-driven programming retreat.
My expertise is gluing together complicated tools and systems in pursuit of delightful developer experiences. I love jumping into unfamiliar pits of complexity and debugging across layers of abstraction.
The problems I find most interesting are generally devx ones; build systems, CLIs, Devops. I'm also interested in fullstack, particularly projects that serve unique and uncommon purposes, or do things in unconventional ways, and generally with emphasis on networking and infra. I'm a big fan of Nix, and enjoy reproducibility, declarative-ness, and developer ergonomics.
