I am trying to run the solver using my own STL file based on the sphere example case. I have encountered an issue: when the STL is much smaller than the computational domain, the simulation runs properly. However, when I scale the STL to a size comparable to the domain, like the attached picture, the simulation becomes unstable and eventually diverges after a certain number of time steps. I changed the parameters in the input.i3d and the tol parameter in the Python file, but it still diverges.
Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Thank you very much in advance for your help.
