From 3ed997b16292c334fb117850252df353782dc2f2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: rustnew Date: Fri, 4 Sep 2026 12:44:55 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Simplify the hero to a single title + badges, nothing else MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Requested: the hero had grown cluttered (an eyebrow label, a title, a tagline paragraph, three link buttons, and a boxed methodological-note callout). Stripped down to what a clean project page needs and no more: one well-made title and the three status badges underneath. Nothing here is actually lost: - The tagline's claim is already the page's opening line once you scroll past the hero (docs.md's own executive summary, §1). - The disclaimer callout was redundant with §0 "Methodological disclaimer", which is literally the next thing on the page -- keeping both said the same thing twice before a reader got anywhere. - The three link buttons (repository / verified results / raw source) overlapped with the footer's existing Repository / docs.md (source) / Contributing / License links, which stay exactly where they were. Methodological note: this is a research specification, not a results report. Section 0 below states plainly which numbers are experimental targets versus what has actually been measured — see the README for verified findings, including a corrected result and a documented bug.
