This issue tracks open todos towards v3:

• Simplify technology handling (scripts create symlinks in technology/ if not used with cockpit -> more unified)
• Simplify SRAM mapping/handling
• Add scanchain support (Scan chain Insertion using OpenROAD #124)
• Add support for common low-cost FPGAs (Adding Support for the arty z7 20 and zybo z7 20 fpga boards #50 Add support for Digilent Basys3 board #130 WIP: nextpnr: add flows for OrangeCrab and GateMate Dev #103)
• Improved antenna fixing (Post route antenna fix #88)
• Update to new PDK and standard cells (Update to new IHP130 PDK #78)
• A_DLY really needs a warning in simulation!
• Update artistIC for new PDK
• Update oseda to a version with Slang frontend integration YosysHQ/yosys#5967 and remove plugin loading from scripts
• Make optional nature of GPIOs more clear -> students are encouraged to reassign IOs
• Either improve default power ring/grid and/or make it clearer students can optimize
