[2.0] TutorialLayout.astro is missing the showBanner translation feature

Actual Behavior

TutorialLayout.astro on the 2.0 branch is missing the showBanner feature, which displays an outdated translation warning banner to users viewing translated tutorials. This feature exists on main but was not carried over to 2.0.

The feature was introduced in PR #1000 as part of the GSoC 2025 Translation Tracker project by @Divyansh013. There is no discussion in that PR about why it was not included in 2.0; it appears to have been omitted.

Expected Behavior

TutorialLayout.astro on 2.0 should include the showBanner translation feature, consistent with main.

@Nwakaego-Ego good point thank you for spotting this, @Divyansh013 and I were initially intentionally targeting translation action at the v1 version of the site. But it should have been documented. @Divyansh013 do you prefer to wait for GSoC start to consider enabling tracker on 2.0 as well?

Is the banner active currently, actually, on the main site? That would be a bug / unintended for sure.

Hi @ksen0 I checked a few translated tutorial pages on p5js.org, specifically Hindi and Spanish, and the banner does not appear to be showing on either. Just wanted to share that observation in case it's a helpful context for the conversation with @Divyansh013
