NOT ISSUE: Can stdlib read .duckdb file?

As in the title. Can stdlib read .duckdb files? Not parquet, but native .duckdb or .db? If yes, could you please write and example of how to access a local .duckdb file and not one in memory?

Stdlib references duckdb-wasm 1.24 which itself references DuckDB 0.7.1. DuckDB's own format only became backwards compatible from version 0.10 onward, and even today is only partially forward compatible (you can read more here). Afaik until 0.10 you would only be able to read DB dumps created from the exact same version.

You can interact with the underlying duckdb-wasm instance via client._db. Be careful though to perform any initialization in the same cell that creates your DuckDBClient instance, to not introduce any side effects that would cause nondeterministic behavior.
