Reason Why Navigation not showing active

I have the following code base:

However the navigation doesnot show active for the specific URL.

We might be able to better investigate if you created a minimal reproduction on CodeSandbox; till then, perhaps the issue lies in the way you are structuring the browser router object - can you try closely following the integration docs and see if it works?

Hi, I wasn't able to run the example in codesandbox but in the screenshot you shared there seems to be a very slight gray color around the "Dashboard" item.
So maybe it is selected and it's just an issue with the colors in the theme you're using?

For some reason the Mui-Selected class doesnot get added.

@bharatkashyap I had to reinstall react-router-dom v6 as I removed it and installed the new version react-router v7. The navigation works now.
