On debian and derivatives, apt install/upgrade runs show a show
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:with a list of packages that can be removed withapt autoremove.In the age of kernel updates every other week, this represents measurable disk space; plus, the autoremoval warning doesn't repeat at the end of an upgrade, by which point it might have scrolled off of the terminal space.
It would be nice to have an indicator of this in exosphere, maybe along the lines of what you use for a pending reboot.
