I was a professor at <a href="https://www.utexas.edu/">University of Texas at Austin</a> and at <a href="https://www.ucl.ac.uk/">University College London</a>, as well as a fellow at <a href="https://turing.ac.uk/">The Alan Turing Institute</a> for data science and AI and the European Lab for Learning & Intelligent Systems <a href="https://ellis.eu/">(ELLIS)</a>. I have made contributions in cognitive science and computational neuroscience. After embarking on the <a href="https://braingpt.org/">BrainGPT</a> project, I became very interesting in extending modern AI techniques, such as large language models, to build systems that can accelerate scientific discovery.</p>
