Documentation For Importing System From Standalone Dolphin

I have searched and tried every combination of files I can think of, but I have not been able to use my NAND/system files from standalone dolphin.

I have a working NAND import in regular dolphin-emu. This includes the system menu and Miis.

I copied everything from ~/.local/share/dolphin-emu into ~/.config/retroarch/saves/User.

Things like GameCube saves work perfectly, but when I try to go to the Wii main menu via the home button on a Wiimote, everything just hangs.

This works as expected in standalone dolphin.

Is there some documentation I am missing on copying these files correctly?

Just out of curiosity, I imported a NAND backup into a clean install of Dolphin, then immediately copied everything from ~/.local/share/dolphin-emu to the RetroArch saves folder at /saves/dolphin-emu/User (note that, in current versions of RetroArch, saves are by default organized by core name, i.e., /saves/dolphin-emu/User), and it worked great, the Wii Menu works fine, all the saves and Channels are there.

You also appear to be using Linux, how did you install RetroArch? I ran the tests above using the AppImage version downloaded from the RetroArch website, but the Flatpak version works too (I use it as my main install). If you installed RetroArch through your distro's package manager, you may be using an outdated or buggy/broken version, try the AppImage (saves are stored in a hidden .config folder next to the AppImage binary) or Flatpak (saves are in ~/.var/app/org.libretro.RetroArch/config/retroarch/saves).
Also, did you make sure to properly configure the Dolphin core by downloading the system files in Online Updater>Core System Files Downloader>Dolphin? The Dolphin core doesn't work properly without this.

If that doesn't fix it, perhaps providing a log file could help figure out where it's crashing.

I am indeed running arch linux, and I have retroarch installed via pacman.
I am running retroarch version 1.22.2.

I have downloaded the dolphin system files through the online updater.
I also re-ran the core updater, so everything is up to date.

I checked in ~/.config/retroarch, and the dolphin core automatically creates a directory at ~/.config/retroarch/saves/User.
Even though I am on the latest version of everything, it does not seem to use the path ~/.config/retroarch/saves/dolphin-emu/User.

I re-ran everything, and it works now :)

I see. The option to sort save files by the core name has been enabled by default for a few versions now, so either your ~/.config/retroarch/retroarch.cfg file is quite old, or the RetroArch build packaged by your distro modifies some things/settings (which is likely the case).
