Press-shortcut-again behavior doesn't close menu when set to Close menu

Short Summary

When Press-shortcut-again behavior is set to "Close menu", pressing the menu shortcut a second or a third continious time does not close the menu. The menu remains open and I have to kill the app in taskbar for it to work again i am using the latest version the thing i when i press it fast it gets stuck so pls fix this issue.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

Open Kando settings.
Set Press-shortcut-again behavior to Close menu.
Open a menu using its shortcut.
Press the same shortcut again.

Expected behavior:

The menu closes.

Actual behavior:

Nothing happens; the menu stays open.

It only happens when i am fast clicking it mulitple times so yeah pls fix it

i can confirm the old version works but i don't like 2.3.1 i like the alpha pls fix it
Another thing i can confirm is when press esc it does close but the key i used to open and close y shortcut doesn't work i am using it in hover mode so yeah pls confirm the issue and fix it
