[Feature request] Combobox with previous commit messages

In the commit dialog, the "commit summary" input field could be a combobox that allows me to type a message/summary or select a previous one that I can edit (or reuse). I'm thinking that the dropdown list shows the X latest messages. Maybe configurable, or maybe just some fixed value, like 10. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good suggestion, that wouldn't be too hard to implement.

Unrelated, but this looks like Windows. I'm unaware of exactly how important Windows support is for people, so it's mostly been an afterthought for now. Is this your primary platform for using GitFourchette?

Yes, this is Windows. I found GitFourchette just recently when looking for a Git tool for Linux (which I use for personal projects). I really liked it, so I've installed it on the computer I use at my client, which runs Windows. During my 18 years as a consultant, I've never had a client that runs Linux on their employees' computers. So from that perspective, I would say Windows support is pretty important.
