Can slrn work with port 563 given the certificates are in place with inn?

I have not tried it but it should when invoked with using the -p option: $ slrn --nntp --help --nntp options: -h nntp-host Host name to connect to. This overrides NNTPSERVER variable. -p NNTP-PORT Set the NNTP port to NNTP-PORT. The default value is 119. Note: This option has no effect on some systems.

Exactly what I did and slrn just choked. Can you tell me how to debug?
