Contributing to maa-framework

New contributors start at QUICKSTART-DEV.adoc (setup, build, test, and the repo layout in one page). The long-form guide is .github/CONTRIBUTING.md — note it still carries template placeholders in places; treat it as an outline, not gospel.

The rules that will block your PR if you miss them:

• main merges squash-only, on PRs only, with signed commits (Optimus-Branch ruleset, zero bypass actors — direct pushes fail).

• just check must pass locally: it mirrors the CI gate exactly (build, test, fmt, clippy with warnings denied, zero-dependency).

• Normative state lives in .machine_readable/6a2/STATE.a2ml — read the [landmines] section before touching CI, workflows, or contracts.
