Hole patterns - margin

Is there a way to get a margin when we do a hole pattern? For circles or squares for example I want the holes more in the middle not near the edges.

In this example I don't want the holes that close to the right and left edges.

yes the current hole pattern panel has a margin slider below the hole arrangement controls increase that to leave more material between the holes and the face edges it controls edge clearance rather than the spacing between holes panel source if you do not see it which version are you using

I don't know how I missed it, I guess I did not scroll down far enough. The problem is there is no separate control for top/bottom and left/right.

right the current implementation uses one margin value for all face edges so separate top bottom and left right margins are not available settings and placement for that layout a workaround is to place a smaller set of hole shapes manually and group them with the plate independent horizontal and vertical margins would need a feature change

@gquiring right now there is one margin for all edges of the face, so the left/right edges cannot be given more room than the top/bottom. There is no clean way round it with the pattern panel today. Your case, long plate with the pattern running along it, is a good example for a separate margin along the rows and across them.
