Notes - can we get a toggle to not show them

Would it be possible to display notes only if the part is selected, otherwise don't show it. It could be a toggle in settings or a screen toggle to hide all notes unless you hover the mouse over a specific part. I find when I label a bunch of parts the workspace is too busy with all the notes.

there is already a global notes visibility toggle according to the notes guide look for Notes in the visibility controls to hide them without deleting them it also hides reference points that can reduce the clutter now though showing only the selected or hovered part would still be a separate feature

@gquiring besides the switch morvayo mentioned, you can also close each note on its own: click its pin and the card folds away, only the small number stays. Click the pin again to open it. That keeps the labels on the parts without covering the view.

the reference i used is the current source version of the guide it is the last sentence under Notes just before Reference points if your in app guide does not show that sentence it may differ from the source version i checked i should have made that distinction clearer the pin method henmedia explained is the confirmed way to collapse individual cards

@henmedia Yes that helps a lot clicking the pin, that should be mentioned in the guide. But I still don't see in the guide under notes where they mention some visibility control.

@gquiring You're right on both. The guide now says that a click on the pin folds a note away and opens it again, and where the switch is: "Show notes and points" is in "Visibility options", the arrow beside the eye icon. This will be in the next release.
