SET25 SetAltExternalSensor on running heat pump?

Hello,
Does anyone here have experience switching the outdoor temperature sensor from "External" to "Internal" on a heat pump that is currently running?

SET25 SetAltExternalSensor Set the alternative external outdoor sensor 0=disabled, 1=enabled

Yes , i have automation , with sets to "External" , when outdoor temp is below -9 ( read from other thermometer) ....
then on "external" i have fixed resistor with is set to -9 . Reason for that is , that below -10 deg my T-CAP use defrost mode via compressor ( it takes long time and power consuming)...

So yes , it can be set during HP work.
