This is just to start the conversation about general role descriptions and individual personas of people in certain roles and document some resources (will duplicate in the framework repo for completeness - this is more of a framework issue).
A role is a defined set of responsibilities, functions, and expectations associated with an individual within a job or project context.
Roles describe the nature of the work performed in general terms, independent of formal job titles. Role descriptions should be linked to career stages - e.g. we should have descriptions for junior, standard, senior, principal within each role (or whatever the most common gradation is).
Personas are very similar to roles - i.e. they should be almost seen as instances of role, where people should be able to select their role/career stage and then provide more details of the work they perform or specialism they have.
