Locally converting Ableton Tempo to a Midi Clock

Do you have suggestions how one might convert the Tempo 'agreed on' over Ableton Link to a MIDI clock, to drive non-Ableton capable kit?

For example using a Pi-Zero in a small project box to do:

1. MIDI hosting of USB keyboard (and to feed MIDI to synth module)
2. Ableton Link based clocking of Synth's internal sequence (via Stop/Stop and MIDI clock)

Integrating MIDI is the next goal for my project. I already have a MIDI port on the front panel ... ;-)
