Questions about memory manage.

1. I found that when I stop an audio,  the memory did not release. (with firefox "about: memory" tab). Is there any way to release memory(buffer after decode) manually or why the memory did not release itself?
2. And when I pause for a moment, and then start again, the memory will cost much more than non-pause. Why is this happen?
