From be97723665fb9d95f5849b9d4507aaecaab47448 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Claude Date: Tue, 15 Sep 2026 03:02:22 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Keep the 0.22.0 update's liquid samples out of the renderer MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The release note's inline code samples contain liquid, which archival renders rather than prints, and comrak's escaping turns the quotes in `where: "slug", "lunch"` into `"` — so the value no longer parses and the build fails. Wrap the body in `{% raw %}`, as the rest of the docs already do. This is only needed until a release carries the engine-side fix, which stops parsing liquid inside markdown code. This enables things like `{{ posts.something.name }}` where something is the object file at `objects/post/something.toml` - note that if the slug has dashes, you have to use bracket syntax `["my-post"]`, which shouldn't be a surprise but is worth noting. This is especially useful when looking up fields, since that used to be: -`{{sample_menus | where: "slug", "lunch" | map: "url" | first }}` to get the URL, which not only is hard to read but has to map the whole array. That now condenses to `{{ sample_menus.lunch.url }}`, which I'd hope would be the first thing you'd think of. +`{{sample_menus | where: "slug", "lunch" | map: "url" | first }}` to get the URL, which not only is hard to read but has to map the whole array.
