As a developer of public / demo / sandbox content I would like to be able to make my content in DA publicly readable (anyone with a valid token), but not let it be publicly writeable.

As of today, if you put authorization on your site, there is no path to make any content publicly available. This is a challenge if you are an owner of a boilerplate and you want someone to be able to copy natively from DA.
