This road is a nightmare? I can't seem to get any SqlClient past v5 to work. dbatools doesn't have it working loading SNI. Only SqlServer module has it working and they use v5.

So I finally figure this out. Later editions of the library uses a "reference" / "failover" SqlClient dll that always throws not supported exceptions. There are separate win and unix managed libraries for SqlClient as well as separate runtime native libraries. Something I hadn't seen before and is more challenging in the publish process for pwsh. One solution is to copy the dll and another is dotnet publish --runtime win-x64 and another is maybe AssemblyDependencyResolver.
