in india, Reliance Jio is starting to become a big content place and they have a full app store for their TV lineup running on android without google play services. It would be great if newpipe publishes the app on their store as well because they don't allow alternate stores/even play store on their devices.

Their developer program is free from what i could gather and it should be like publishing to f-droid.

Reliance Jio is betting big on their connected devices/smart devices and TV is one of them. Having newpipe on the platform is essential as the default apps just arent privacy/security conscious.
