[Feature Request] Login To PeerTube

The ability to login to PeerTube instances would be great.
I can understand not giving users login ability to YouTube, but I think the ability to login to our PeerTube instances would be a nice feature.

Login to YouTube or Google account will not be implemented in NewPipe:

PeerTube is made by Framasoft which is an association working for a better web, FLOSS and privacy friendly, then I think it agrees with NewPipe privacy policy.

@FinixFighter if you want an Alternativ front end for YT and login you could use YouTube Vanced for Android (it also almost looks the same as the "normal" YT app)
But I also preferr NewPipe for obvious reasons.(sorry for the off-topic)

PeerTube is made by Framasoft which is an association working for a better web, FLOSS and privacy friendly, then I think it agrees with NewPipe privacy policy.

I am a supporter of PeerTube, but it should be noted that individual instances cannot be assumed to be good actors. A review of the top 10 most popular instances a few months ago showed three had ad trackers in use.

I have not used Thorium yet, but it is a dedicated PeerTube app which does allow users to login to PeerTube instances. Maybe contributors who want to improve PeerTube on mobile can assist that project.

as with all Fediverse instances, but you have the OPTION to not use them. That's the real power.

Do we have any word on where we stand on introducing logging into PeerTube through Newpipe though? Is it planned within next one or two NP versions? Or kinda far away still?
