Steps to reproduce the bug
Open the search function (magnifying glass on the top right).
The onscreen keyboard opens up.
Search for something.
Try to leave the dialogue.
Expected behavior
onscreen keyboard should disappear
Actual behavior
Unfortunately the onscreen keyboard doesn't go away. 😿
Clicking D-Pad buttons may start videos in the background but the keyboard stays in front.

this regression came right after updating NewPipe from
v0.28.2v0.28.3 to v0.28.4(thanks @dustdfg! I had first unintentionally skipped v0.28.3)
