Search function broken on devices without touchscreen (regression in v0.28.4)

Steps to reproduce the bug

Open the search function (magnifying glass on the top right).
The onscreen keyboard opens up.
Search for something.
Try to leave the dialogue.

Expected behavior

onscreen keyboard should disappear

Actual behavior

Unfortunately the onscreen keyboard doesn't go away. 😿
Clicking D-Pad buttons may start videos in the background but the keyboard stays in front.

this regression came right after updating NewPipe from v0.28.2 v0.28.3 to v0.28.4
(thanks @dustdfg! I had first unintentionally skipped v0.28.3)

Can you try v0.28.3?

Sorry for leaving out that important test!
I tried v0.28.3 now and that version is not affected by this regression.
The search keyboard definitely broke with v0.28.4.

I tried connecting a BT keyboard with touchpad and mouse buttons now and also with that (clicking around on the screen) there is no way to leave the search keyboard.

It seems this issue is also present on my Amazon Fire TV Stick (NewPipe v0.28.4), issue also wasn't present in 0.28.3.
